Tom Roberson
Owner and Founder
Tom Roberson is a local entrepreneur with a lifetime of retail experience. From working in and eventually managing local retail stores, Tom has built a solid foundation in customer service and HR management. He operated a successful Window Blind and Shutter sales and installation service, and worked as a subcontractor in such for over 24 years. He has an extensive background in audio and video engineering, and still operates a Digital Remastering and CD/VHS/DVD Duplication service.


His technology experience ranges from operating Bulletin Board Services (BBS's) in the 1990's, to repairing computers and installing/operating networks. His love for the IT world gave him opportunities to establish himself as a reputable technician and administrator.
He is a member of the Forest City Kiwanis, the Forest City Merchants Association and does volunteer work for the Rutherford Historical Society.

 

Mike Sheridan
Network/Technology Manager
Mike’s foundation in computers began in Silicon Valley at 12 years old learning to program in the BASIC language on Apple and Tandy PCs. This interest continued and at 16 he started a team that began writing PC and BBS games in Seattle, WA. After high school, he began residential and small business system support as an independent consultant. Upon relocating to North Carolina in 1997, he went to work for United Southern Industries, Inc. as an IT Technician and Network Administrator.


In 2001, he left USI, resumed independent consultation, and started ID Studios, a non-profit development studio. As Project Leader, he led an international team in the development of PC game modifications over the next 4 years, winning multiple awards, and was featured in PC Game magazines internationally as well as on many popular websites such as FilePlanet.com, IGN.com, and SimHQ.com.
In 2004, he began serving as the Chairman of the Technology Committee and Technology Facilitator at Trinity School, Inc. and soon after joined City Computers.


Although he left Trinity School in 2007, Mike continues to assist local private and charter schools and non-profit organizations that are both found locally and abroad.
